Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen, P.C. has elected Gwen Nolan King and Kenneth Thayer as shareholders of the firm effective January 1, 2021.
Sugarman Rogers managing partner Christine Netski noted, “Gwen is both a trusted advisor and a passionate advocate. She is also a wonderful colleague. Her unyielding commitment to her clients and excellent counseling and advocacy skills will continue to play a key part in strengthening and expanding the firm’s capabilities in several core areas. We are thrilled to welcome her into the partnership.” Gwen has been named a “Super Lawyer” and “Rising Star” in Business Litigation by Massachusetts Super Lawyers. She is regularly invited to lecture and author resources on both employment law and civil litigation. Gwen currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Association and previously served on the steering committee for the Boston Bar Association’s College & University Section. Gwen is a graduate of Fairfield University and Cornell Law School.

Ken is a graduate of Boston University and Boston University Law School.
