Christine Netski, a senior partner and Executive Committee member at Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen, has been named one of the 2012 Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The annual honor is given to “women who have made significant professional strides and demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in private practice, the corporate arena and social advocacy.” Lawyers Weekly will hold a ceremony honoring Christine and this year’s other recipients on October 12 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

Christine has over 25 years of experience representing corporations and individuals in a variety of business, employment and product liability litigation matters. She has been recognized as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell, named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in Business Litigation and honored as one of the Top 50 Female Lawyers in Massachusetts and New England. Christine was recently elected to serve a three-year term as Member of the Boston Bar Association Council, the 34-member governing body of the BBA, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Women’s Bar Association’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Regina Roman, the firm’s managing partner, applauded Lawyer’s Weekly’s decision to honor Christine, and her “accomplishments as a superb trial lawyer, a devoted mentor to other women attorneys and a committed advocate for professional excellence.” Click to see a full list of honorees.
