Jessica works with national and regional insurance carriers on insurance-coverage matters, lawsuits involving claims of bad faith, extra-contractual liability, and violations of consumer-protection statutes, and reinsurance disputes. She also provides counsel to clients on issues of consumer-information privacy, including issues arising under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Massachusetts regulations governing the protection of personal information. She works with insurance-company underwriting, accounting and claims executives to develop internal policies, procedures, and training programs, and she has a strong understanding of the business issues facing the insurance industry.

Jessica’s experience also includes advising and representing clients in the real estate business, whom she has assisted with litigation related to environmental, land-use and property disputes.
