Sugarman Rogers partner Anthony V. Agudelo secured a victory in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on behalf of an Sugarman Rogers client in a product liability case. The plaintiff had claimed that a drill, battery, or battery charger had caused a fire leading to significant property damage. Sugarman Rogers won a dismissal of the case in the United States District Court, and that dismissal was recently affirmed by the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. The Court of Appeals found no evidence to support the plaintiff’s claim that any product made by Sugarman Rogers’ client caused the fire. See the Appeals Court Decision here. |
