Sugarman Rogers is pleased to announce that Partner Ken Thayer has worked with Superior Court Business Litigation Session judges to compile the BLS Bench Notes practice guide. In its 48 pages, the four current judges of the BLS answer a series of questions clarifying their preferred courtroom policies and procedures. Several other council members also assisted in drafting the guide.
As vice-chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Complex Commercial Litigation Section Council, Ken hopes this comprehensive and useful guide will help provide best practices for representing clients while demystifying BLS proceedings. The free guide is available online to any litigator seeking more information about the session or determining whether a case is appropriate for the BLS.
Ken provides strategic counsel and advocacy to clients in business, employment, environmental, and insurance matters. His clients include manufacturers, technology companies, marine industrial companies, property owners, insurance carriers, government entities, and individuals. Ken has been a member of the MBA’s Complex Commercial Litigation Council for five years.
