Sugarman Rogers congratulates Alessandra Wingerter on her selection to the Environmental Law Institute’s Emerging Leaders Initiative, joining the second-ever cohort of Emerging Leaders. The Environmental Law Institute (ELI) formed the Emerging Leaders Initiative to connect, support, and foster dialogue among the next generation of rising stars in environmental law and policy. Selected by some of the most prominent environmental, energy, and natural resource leaders in the nation on ELI’s Board, Leadership Council, and staff, Emerging Leaders are a diverse group from across the country, representing a variety of practice settings, including NGOs, government agencies, in-house corporate law departments, and private law firms, and bring together the leaders who will shape the future of environmental law and policy and follow in the footsteps of their predecessors on the Leadership Council and the ELI Board. Together they help to ensure a future of innovative programs for ELI. At Sugarman Rogers, Alle is a member of the firm’s environmental & energy law, real estate litigation, government, and election law practice groups, with experience in zoning, permitting and land-use litigation, including litigation under the state hazardous-waste laws (chapter 21E and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan), wetlands laws, waterways laws (chapter 91), local environmental laws, and other environmental statutes and regulations.
