Massachusetts law has been changing rapidly in the area of slip-and-fall litigation, as the Supreme Judicial Court expands the circumstances under which plaintiffs no longer have to prove that a defendant had notice of a dangerous condition on their premises.  Sugarman Rogers associate Grace McGuire, along with her colleagues at the Defense Research Institute, has published an article examining these developments and comparing them with recent changes in Florida law on the same subject.
