Timothy C. Benjamin
Tim represents a variety of businesses and individuals in insurance matters and business disputes.
Before earning his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, Tim studied economics, mathematics, and physics at Randolph-Macon College. In addition to his academic accomplishments, he was the varsity baseball team’s catcher and team captain.
His natural leadership abilities allow him to manage cases efficiently and openly communicate with his clients and colleagues. Tim strives to serve each client’s unique business needs, whether he is counseling on a complex insurance coverage issue, implementing a trial strategy, or negotiating a settlement to avoid costly litigation.
Prior to joining Sugarman Rogers, Tim was an associate with prominent national and regional firms where he represented a variety of businesses and individuals in commercial litigation, business litigation, insurance coverage issues, and insurance defense, and counseled health care entities. When he is outside the office, Tim enjoys fly-fishing, piloting small aircraft, and hiking.
