Regina Roman will be a presenter at this year’s Defense Research Institute Insurance Bad Faith and Extra-Contractual Liability Conference, May 31 to June 2 in Boston. Regina’s presentation, entitled “Communication Breakdown: Ethical Dilemmas Faced by Defense Counsel When The Policyholder and Insurer Disagree About Strategy or Coverage,” will address developments in the law governing the relationship between a liability insurance company, its policyholder and a lawyer appointed to defend the insured in a lawsuit, as well as practical advice based on Regina’s extensive experience counseling insurers, lawyers and policyholders.
