Chambers USA announced its annual rankings for 2021, and Sugarman Rogers is thrilled to announce Lisa C. Goodheart, C. Dylan Sanders, and the firm’s Environmental practice are once again recognized. Chambers & Partners, a leading global legal directory, conducts independent research that relies on feedback from industry leaders and clients to identify the top attorneys and law firms. The qualities researchers evaluate include technical legal ability, client service, commercial vision, diligence, value and efficiency, and other qualities most valued by the client.

Lisa C. Goodheart, co-chair of Sugarman Rogers’ Environmental & Energy Law and Real Estate Litigation practice groups, maintained her Band 1 status for her Environmental law work and her Band 2 ranking in Litigation: General Commercial. Feedback received about Goodheart described her as an “outstanding environmental litigator” and “a legend in environmental litigation.” She was also praised as an “outstanding lawyer with a tremendous amount of gravitas.”

C. Dylan Sanders, co-chair of the firm’s Environmental & Energy Law and Real Estate Litigation practice groups along with Goodheart, maintained his Band 3 status for his excellent Environmental work. Chambers notes he “is regularly called upon to advise on complex environmental litigation.” Sanders often works with developers and property owners on permitting and land-use litigation.

Sugarman Rogers is ranked among the best in Massachusetts firms, maintaining its Band 3 ranking in Environmental law. Chambers notes the firm’s “expertise covers hazardous waste site cleanups, insurance claims and CAA litigation, among other areas.” The firm is described as a “boutique” that “regularly works with developers, manufacturers and public authorities.”

Chambers also publishes boutique guides separate from its traditional geographically-based lawyer rankings. Look for news about the Chambers High Net Worth Guide (which recommends firms providing legal services for high-net-worth individuals) and recognition for Sugarman Rogers’ Family practice in the coming months.
