Andrea Studley Knowles’s role as co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Insurance and Tort Litigation Section recently concluded. During her two-year tenure, Andrea worked alongside Matthew Sweet of Hamel, Marcin, Dunn, Reardon & Shea (2021-2022) and Garrett Lee of Morgan & Morgan (2020-2021) to lead the Section’s programming. Prior to serving as co-chair of the Section, Andrea served as co-chair of the Section’s Product Liability Committee.
Reflecting on her time as co-chair, Andrea said, “The BBA Sections play a vital role in the Boston legal community. They harness the knowledge and experience of legal professionals to provide practical programming to young lawyers and in-depth analysis to seasoned lawyers. The BBA Sections also provide leadership and collaborative opportunities for their members. The result is a knowledgeable and collegial bar.”
The Insurance and Tort Litigation Section provides BBA members a forum to share knowledge and discuss issues surrounding product liability, personal injury and medical malpractice, professional liability, and insurance and reinsurance.
